our pre-k program

Pre-Kindergarten provides opportunities to challenge, inspire and motivate children to explore and learn in preparation for Kindergarten.

The Pre-Kindergarten program at Scots All Saints College is specifically designed to prepare children for school readiness. Children have time and space to work on social skills through developmental play, group activities and interacting with their peers. The rich variety of opportunities and experiences on offer each day to help to guide and support children as they develop emotional maturity in their own time.

The Pre-Kindergarten program is offered on all three campuses to suit individual parent and students needs and preferences for number and choice of days.

curriculum

  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills

    Encouraged through developmental play, art and craft experiences, cooking, gardening, physical education, table games, group games, sensory experiences and more.

  • Independence

    Develop independence in everyday tasks, from borrowing and returning books to the library, unpacking and packing bags, toileting, hygiene and meal times.

  • Numeracy, Handwriting, Reading and Spelling

    Our numeracy program and THRASS (Teaching Handwriting, Reading and Spelling), a proven literacy program, provides an introduction awareness and extension of learning for children at their cognitive stage and interest level.

  • Key Learning Programs

    STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths), Music, Arts, Games, News and more to develop their communication and cognitive skills.
