I am delighted to welcome you and your children a new era in education within regional NSW that supports their individual growth in all areas of learning – physically, emotionally, academically and spiritually within a Christian worldview.

As a new premier Co-educational Day and Boarding College, located on 3 campuses in Bathurst and Lithgow, Scots All Saints College was recently established in 2019 following the merger of two outstanding schools, The Scots School and All Saints’ College by the Presbyterian Church of NSW. Both schools have enjoyed a proud reputation of more than 218 years combined as leading schools of excellence providing outstanding learning experiences for children of all ages within a safe, secure, idyllic country setting.

Building on these strong traditions, Scots All Saints College is a modern and progressive College where all-round excellence is an outcome of our inspired learning environment.  We offer strong pastoral care and student wellbeing programs, wide subject choice, highly qualified and caring teachers and diverse co-curricular programs within a friendly, approachable and supportive school community.

Visitors to the College campuses often comment on the expansive grounds and the beauty of the College with its range of deciduous trees to present four distinct seasons. Such an environment allows students to thrive and to enjoy ‘space to be’ through the wide range of co-curricular opportunities including Sport, Music, Pipes and Drums, Cadets, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Equestrian and Cattle Team just to mention a few.

Scots All Saints College values the achievement of all-round excellence in music, sport, agriculture, performing and visual arts, citizenship and academics. Our HSC and NAPLAN results have consistently outperformed all other schools in the Central West. In fact, in 2018, 3 out of 4 students achieved Band 5/6 results with more than two thirds of those in 4 or more subjects. Many factors have led to these outstanding results, the efforts by the students, teachers caring for and nurturing the individual and the positive influence of a caring, collaborative community.

Scots All Saints College is excited to be the first school in the Central West to introduce Positive Psychology as a new approach to learning and living at school. We believe it will be a game changer in the lives of our students providing the skills and attitudes to overcome setbacks, develop a growth mindset the patience and persistence to be successful and happy throughout their lives.

Today, the College educates over 750 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 from Bathurst, Lithgow and surrounding towns and has a strong boarding community from rural NSW, Sydney, interstate and overseas.

Every student is known as an individual and is provided with an opportunity to build confidence and resilience, to enjoy school, to be challenged and to develop skills and foster personal growth. As they journey through the College, it is my hope that our students will be well-prepared to graduate as young men and women of purpose, confident leaders ready to contribute to the local and global community.

I extend a sincere invitation to you and your family to learn more about our College by contacting us or visiting for a campus tour. You will be welcomed by Mrs Lisa Ellery, College Registrar, and be provided with an opportunity for an interview with myself or a member of our Senior Leadership Team to discuss enrolment of your child. We look forward to meeting with you soon.

Mr John Weeks

Head of Scots All Saints College
