In whom we live and move and have our being.
At this Easter season we are aware of your self giving through the death and wonderful resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Easter follows the loneliness and despair of Good Friday.
Give us, we pray, a fresh understanding of this, of Easter hope in the darkness of suffering.
Give us too, the infusion of your Holy Spirit that we may go on with courage and perseverance.
As we are in confinement may we be open to your work of restoration , through contact with others, through our inventiveness to serve and through just being in your vast creation.
Help us to support those who are working in essential services through our choices and our prayers.
This we pray in the name of the one who loved us and gave himself for us,
our Risen Jesus Christ.
