Spring Fair – 9 September 2018

Thousands of locals from Bathurst and the Central West region are expected to join in the fun of the biggest event on the All Saints’ College calendar – Spring Fair to be held on Sunday, 9 September from 10am.

As the last official Spring Fair as All Saints’ College, the All Saints’ Parents & Friends Association are welcoming The Scots School and the wider Central West community to join the festivities and showcase what makes these two great local schools stronger together in 2019 as Scots All Saints College.

Head of All Saints Campus, Mr Chris Jackman said Spring Fair continues to evolve, getting better every year and this year, will be no exception with the inclusion of a Special Ceremony to celebrate the heritage and culture of both schools.

“It is fantastic to see the school community working together to create this spectacular event. The generosity of teachers, parents and carers demonstrates the beautiful spirit we have here amongst our combined school community as we prepare to welcome locals and visitors to our school for one big day of fun on All Saints Campus,” Mr Jackman said.

“The event will also celebrate the rich, diverse and cherished history of All Saints’ College and The Scots School as we join together – now as Scots All Saints College – a strong, united regional school of choice for all students,” he said.

Headmaster of Scots All Saints College, Mr David Gates said; “A Special Ceremony to recognise the contributions of past and current students will be held at 11:30am as we look towards a bright future together with immense opportunities in all areas of education and pastoral care for all students including unrivalled space, academic excellence and specialist facilities across 3 campuses in Bathurst and Lithgow.

“The community is invited to join us for the celebrations which will include all the favourite stalls, musical performances, All Saints Campus tours and memorabilia displays from Old Boy and Old Girls and more,” Mr Gates said.

President of All Saints College P&F, Mrs Tracey Finau said in recent times, the annual fundraising event has relocated to the Junior School oval within the school grounds to take advantage of the bigger space, beautiful lawns and gardens making a relaxing atmosphere for friends, families and children to socialise and enjoy all Spring Fair has to offer.

“We are excited about what’s on offer this year at Spring Fair with a new farmers’ market stall with fresh seasonal produce from boarder families, flash mob style musical entertainment, kids’ corner and delicious treats, coffee and good food at the café,” Mrs Finau said.

“The all-day rides pass is always a crowd pleaser. This year we have even more choice for young ones and older kids including unlimited dodgem cars, disco rides, two amazing jumping castles, Fantasy Jet Ride, giant slide, gymnastics, parkour, laser tag.”

All day rides wrist bands can be pre-purchased from All Saints’ College or are available online for $40 per person if purchased before 4 September via this link (All Saints’ College 2018 Spring Fair) or $50 on the day.

“Spring Fair has become a family favourite as part of the Bathurst community for decades. It’s such a worthwhile experience to work alongside other mums, dads and students to create an amazing family, fun day that everyone can enjoy,” Mrs Finau said.
