John Morrison, Australia’s best jazz drummer, has visited the Senior School Campus and workshopped with our Amadeus Academy percussionists.

Rudiments, rolls and beats were flying out of the Performing Arts Centre as the trio of drummers were inspired and challenged to improve their accuracy, expression and security.

What a privilege to work with an Aussie icon! John is in town for the Big Band Blast at CSU, directed by the amazing Jacki Cooper, who will also be performing. The Senior Big Band will be there all weekend with a gig on Sunday.
