Mood Boost Challenge – Lip Sync Battle
One of the key healthy habits Scots All Saints College, Positive Education expert, Dr Paula Robinson recommends to maintain a balanced lifestyle is ‘Mood boosting’. With this in mind, Scots All Saints College, Bathurst NSW has come up with a clever way for our students to boost their mood through singing and dancing and we challenge you all to consider getting involved in our new Mood Boost Challenge.
As families will need to stay at home and limit travel due to the restrictions of COVID-19, Scots All Saints College is encouraging our Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 students, parents, grandparents, teachers and staff to seek ways to ‘boost their mood’ and ‘spread the positive’. We are inviting our students and their family to take on our ‘Mood Boost Challenge’.
Our Performing Arts Academy will be coordinating a weekly ‘Lip Sync Battle’ to encourage creativity through a fun project! Students can opt-in by recording a 60 second video clip ‘lip syncing’ to the nominated song.
The challenge began with ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift. There is a message in this song to ‘shake off’ the current stresses and tensions we are all facing! Enjoy!
You may even spot a special guest appearance by Bathurst Regional Mayor, Bobby Bourke who is grandfather to Bella in Year 7.
‘Shake It Off’
The next song was “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.
