Scots All Saints College will deliver the curriculum online for the students to work at home.

This will be done via Canvas and Seesaw and your child is already familiar with this program. Our priority is keeping the students calm and progressing through their studies in a sequenced, practical manner. Teachers will be adding normal class material to Canvas (Year 5-12) and Seesaw (Years K-4).

At Scots All Saints College, continuity of education is our priority. School is not only about academics but social interaction is also very important. While a number of precautionary measures are in place to keep students and staff safe, Scots All Saints College has adapted to our new learning environment by continuing to provide face to face education for students who are coming to school while being agile and creative to ensure those students who are staying at home are not disadvantaged. Remote learning practices have been taking place in tandem to face to face learning. Scots All Saints teachers across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools share their strategies for helping students to stay connected and engaged in learning despite the challenges.

ICT SUPPORT

As we move to 100% remote, our IT Team is available to assist. While they will be working with staff and students at school, they are available to ‘trouble shoot’ for those having ICT problems from home. Please access the IT Team via email it@scotsallsaints.nsw.edu.au

ONLINE LIBRARY RESOURCES

A reminder that we have 24/7 access to many of our usual library resources and we have also collated a huge number of additional online learning tools to assist our staff, students and families during this difficult time.

The SASC Libraries online libguide is organised into Prep, Junior, Middle and Senior School sections and contains many wonderful free online learning resources for you to access. Other specific KLA and Year level libguides are also available on the library site. There are also links to free ebooks and audiobooks!

The library site is easily accessed via the Links button (look for the ‘i’ information symbol at the bottom on the left hand menu) on the CANVAS dashboard. This Links page also provides easy access to other useful remote learning resources including: the College email; the ELES Study Skills site; Clickview; WordFlyers and Edrolo.
