Do It For Dolly Day Fundraiser

Last Friday, 12 May, students at the Senior School Campus participated in Do It For Dolly Day in support of Dolly’s Dream Foundation. Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying.

Through the education and direct support of young people and families, Kate and Tick’s goal is to prevent other families from walking this road and to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide.

To support the cause, each student was encouraged to wear a blue accessory to school and purchase a sweet treat from the prefect-led bake sale at recess.

Through the organisation and assistance of the Year 12 prefects and boarding students, over $400 was raised and will be directly donated to Dolly’s Dream Foundation.

Thank you to everyone involved for a successful day!
