Scots All Saints College held the regional round of the Evatt competition on Monday afternoon.
Convenors from United Nations Youth travelled from Sydney to chair and run the competition.
Named after H.V. (Doc) Evatt, the Evatt Competition takes the form of a Mock United Nations debate simulating a session in the United Nations Security Council chamber.
Twelve students from Years 9-12 competed in teams of two representing their nominated country. The students enjoyed an afternoon of debating, amending and voting on resolutions about current world issues from the perspective of their country.
