Quad Bike Training Course

Year 11 and 12 Primary Industry students have had the opportunity last week to participate in a Quad Bike Training Course on the Senior School Campus. Delivered by Tocal College, students learned about the risks involved in operating quad bikes before putting into practice some skills and techniques which will make them safer riders in the farming environment.

Needless to say, practicing their active riding around the College farm and grounds was a huge highlight and there has been strong lobbying from students to allow quad bikes as the new mode of transport from the English Block all the way up to the Agriculture Centre.

The qualification gained by students as part of this course is nationally recognised, and as such will be a valuable inclusion in their resume for any students applying for on-farm jobs in the future.
