Students from Year 2 and up have been invited to participate in the Bathurst Regional Council Waste 2 Art Competition.

The students involved have been busy sorting through recyclable materials to repurpose into artworks. It is the “Year of the Textiles” and offers students the opportunity to create with yarn, thread, and various fabrics. Students have brought in old clothing destined for waste and enjoyed using the sewing machine and hot glue gun to repurpose and create.

It really has been wonderful to observe the students engaging in the process independently.
Artworks are due Monday, 20 March and sessions will continue to run Wednesday and Friday lunch times.
