It was a very cold weekend and as other sports shut down across a blizzard landscape… soccer went ahead. With some families absent due to being snowed under, the remnant rugged up their charges and headed to Proctor Park. In valiant bravery they put a, mostly, unfrozen team on the field to play against Church United Wallabies. The U10’s didn’t let the cold slow them down in the first half but, as snow and rain began to fall partway into the second half, the game was called off. Cold is one thing, wet and cold quite another! Thank you U10 parents and players for your commitment to our team!!
