Your Role:
Working with the Head of the Senior School, the Head of TAS has responsibility for providing creative and effective leadership of TAS staff, with a commitment to the continuous improvement of the teaching and learning within the TAS team. In addition, the Head of TAS leads the implementation of research informed innovative practice and use of technologies at the College. The Head of TAS is responsible for the ongoing development and supervision of the curriculum and the quality of teaching and learning that is provided to each student.
The Head of TAS will be a person of integrity and professional credibility who will bring to the position zest, enthusiasm and energy and will embrace the ideals of collaboration, co-operation, integrity and teamwork.
The next Head of TAS will be able to bring:

Essential Criteria:
It is expected applications will have:
• Well-developed pedagogical content knowledge and expertise in their subject, preferably including HSC marking
• Successful teaching experience with the capacity to support and develop improvement in teaching and learning.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to foster positive relationships with students, peers, staff and parents.
• An ability to lead a team, improving the collective outcomes of both staff and student performance.A full list of responsibilities can be viewed by requesting a copy of the applicant information pack.
Conditions:
• Coordinator 2 leadership allowance as per the Independent Schools NSW (Teachers) Cooperative MEA 2025.
• For eligible applicants, provision of on-site accommodation for up to 6 months and the possibility of ongoing on-campus accommodation
• Subsidised relocation costs may also be discussed with the successful applicant
