The Scots All Saints College Equestrian Team proudly travelled to Coonabarabran to compete at the 2026 North West Equestrian Expo, taking a team of 30 riders to one of the largest school equestrian events in the state.
The first classroom for this beginning boys’ school was in the Oddfellows’ Hall in Keppel Street with Mr Henry Kemmis as Headmaster, 27 January 1874.
At a Speech Day during his time as Chairman of the Council of The Scots School, Campbell Alexander, remarked that “the British may have had the empire on which the sun never set, but at Scots we have the empire where the mortar never sets”.
Scots has always been a boarding school. The “Karralee Boys” of the Scots College Branch School were nearly all boarders, and although there were day boys, the majority of boys being boarders carried through into Scots School Bathurst in its early years.
Scots All Saints College has a very long history, and many past students have helped write this history.
On Wednesday 27 May, our Head of College, Mr Richard Ford, our Year 3 to 6 students and some special guests gathered together for the official opening of our Ga Ga Ball Pit.
Year 2 students enjoyed an excursion to the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum on Friday 22 May.
On Tuesday 19 May, our Vocal and Drama students took to the stage for the school’s second annual Musical Theatre Workshop Evening.
