Cattle Team

Cattle Team

The Scots All Saints College Cattle Team is offered as a co-curricular activity from the end of Year 8. As a member of the Cattle Team, your child will assist with breaking-in and preparing school stud cattle, school-bred steers and donated steers for the Blayney Show (March), Sydney Royal Easter Show (March/April), Bathurst Show (early May) and Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza in Scone (October).

The Cattle Team work together to manage and educate the cattle. They develop strong communication and leadership skills as the more experienced students mentor their younger peers, teaching them the skills associated with working and showing cattle.

Cattle training takes place on the Senior Campus once or twice a week, depending on upcoming shows. For more information, please contact Libby Dawes, Director of Agriculture and Equestrian, at libby.dawes@scotsallsaints.nsw.edu.au
