Boarding Position – Head of Galloway House, Girls Boarding (Yrs 7 – 10)

Scots All Saints College is seeking a Permanent Head of House to join our dynamic team of Boarding Staff.

Scots All Saints College is an independent, multi-campus Preparatory to Year 12 co-educational day and boarding school located in Bathurst, Central West NSW. 

Under the guidance of the Director of Boarding, the Head of House organises and oversees the implementation of the Boarding Programs which are central to the Stages in their care.

The role of the Head of House is vital in providing a high degree of care to meet the needs of all the middle school boarders. They must have a genuine interest in the holistic education of the boys and girls and be a positive role model in all areas of life.

The Head of House will carry a 0.6 FTE teaching load and be responsible for approximately 5 staff and 50  girls.  All subject areas will be considered.

Applicants must possess the following:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check or have a willingness to obtain it promptly (Please note that you are not able to commence employment until a clearance has been obtained)
  • Teaching Degree
  • Experience in Boarding or residential setting

Teacher of English

Scots All Saints College (Bathurst) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified English Teacher to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6.  This position has flexibility regarding its start date and can be full time or part time.  Preferably the position would commence in Term 1 2023.

Provisional Psychologist

Scots All Saints College is a Presbyterian Co-educational Day and Boarding College Preparatory to Year 12.

The Provisional Psychologist will work as part of the school’s extensive Wellbeing Team to deliver professional counselling, psychological services & proactive/preventative interventions to the Scots All Saints students.

After School Care Assistant

Scots All Saints College is a Presbyterian Co-educational Day and Boarding College Preparatory to Year 12.

The position we are seeking to fill is permanent part-time Monday-Friday 3.00 pm to 6:00 pm term time only. This position is based on the Junior School Campus Commencing Term 1 2023.

Selection Criteria 

  • Enjoy working with young children both individually and in groups.
  • Have a competent level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Have a willingness to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to establish positive relationships with students showing care and concern for their welfare.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (desirable).

Candidates will be subject to child protection screening and must hold a current Working With Children (WWC) number.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Working with individual students and small groups whilst facilitating homework and activities to keep the children busy.
  • Assisting with providing students with the opportunity to develop personal, social and independent learning skills.
