ISA Semi Finals - Festival of Schoolboys Rugby is Back in Town
On Saturday 8 August 2026, the Independent Sporting Association (ISA) Boys Rugby Competition Semi Finals will be held at venues across Bathurst including Scots All Saints College, St Stanislaus’ College, and Hereford Street sports fields.
In its second year in this ‘one location’ format, the event delivers a festival of schoolboys rugby to Bathurst, with 58 games played across 12 fields and all 12 schools engaged in the ISA Boys Rugby program are playing on the day.
28 games will be played at St. Stanislaus’ College (13s and Opens teams)
11 games will be played at Scots All Saints College (16s teams)
19 games will be played at Hereford St complex (14s and 15s teams).
All 16s fixtures will be played at Scots All Saints College Senior Campus on the Main Oval and Old Boys’ Oval.
The statistics for the epic event are both remarkable and daunting for the organisers from ISA, St. Stanislaus’ College and Scots All Saints College.
The day will see 107 teams, close to 2000 players and 120 coaching staff coming from 12 ISA Boys Rugby schools with an anticipated 22 buses transporting teams from as far north as the Central Coast, as far south as the Southern Highlands, west to Orange, right across Sydney Basin and everywhere in between.
First games of the day commence at 10:00am and last fixtures finish at approx. 5:00pm.

We are thrilled to return to Bathurst to host this unique opportunity for all ISA Rugby schools to come together to compete in one location. The semi finals weekend feels like real true celebration of school sport and highlights the spirit of our Association,” says Mr Jonathan Byrne, Chair of ISA.
