Over the past four weeks a group of Visual Artists from Years 8 and 9 were educated into the world of pastel painting. With guest artist Loretta Smith at the helm, students were expertly taught and encouraged in building their drawing skills and specific techniques required to ‘paint’ with this beautiful medium.
Students involved in this program conducted themselves with the utmost respect and with open minds to learning and growing as independent creative people. They all made significant improvements and will no doubt be equipped with skills that will translate into their future Visual Arts study.
