Cake was the winner on Thursday when the inaugural Year 12 Cake Competition was held on the Senior Lawn on Senior School Campus.
Teachers and Administration staff from across the campus contributed amazing cakes decorated to fit with one of four categories: Portrait, Subject Area, Movies & Music and Real or Cake.
Fantastic creations included:

Mrs Jurd – look-a-like fairy bread
Mr Odell – piano
Mr Staggs – self-portrait in style of Shakespeare
Mrs Simcock – calculator
Mrs Pearce – black hole
Mrs McDonnell – HR staff in action/flatout
Mr Gillmer – Portrait of students
Ms Constant – science implements and elements
Mrs Nelson – movie snacks (popcorn cupcakes and sprinkle cupcakes
Mme Adamson – La vie en rose
Ms Jackson – Art installation
Mrs Jones – Where do you go next?
Mr Bailey – sport balls cupcakes
Ms Tomlinson – sport field with sour patch players
Mrs Lee – strawberry cream sponge ‘pi’
Judging was taken very seriously by Year 12 students and the following winners came in with the most votes in their category:

Subject Area – Ms Constant
Movies & Music – Mr Odell
Real or Cake – Mrs Jurd.
