We are excited to foster more vertical relationships within the College by encouraging older students to connect with younger students particularly those in Year 7 this term.
This initiative aims to create a sense of community and break down barriers between different year levels.
To kickstart this new friendship, Year 11 students met their Year 7 ‘Buddy’ on Thursday 6 June and shared a barbecue lunch, a special handshake and a chat together.
We are hopeful that these relationships will be ongoing by students engaging with their ‘buddies’ whenever they cross paths around the College or by watching them play sports or congratulating them when they receive an assembly award.
