The College P&F is excited to bring a Colour Run fundraising event to our community on 15 October this year.
The Parents and Friends ‘Monty the Monstar Colour Run’ & BBQ
This fun activity will take place on Junior School Campus and all students from Prep to Year 12 are invited to join the fun.

Date: Thursday 15 October 2026
Time: 3.30pm- 7.30pm
Where: Watson Oval, Junior School Campus, 70 Eglinton Road, Bathurst
Who can participate in the Colour Run?
Any Scots All Saints College student from Preparatory School through to Year 12 can register (enter) to participate in the College P&F Colour Run event.
Children engaged in the Colour Run are the responsibility of their parent or carer (or Boarding staff for Boarders). Parents/carers must be present during the event.
Families are welcome to cheer from the sidelines.
Will there be food?
Yes! The College P&F will run a BBQ and food stall at the Monty the Monstar Colour Run event, selling sausage sizzle, drinks and other items.
Parents will be able to pre-order a sausage sizzle and drink for their student/child via Flexischools app closer to the event date.
How to register to be part of this event
Step 1: Create your Profile
From Friday 28 August, students can go directly to the fundraising portal to create their fundraising profile for this event (link will be provided). There are great prizes for fundraising!

Step 2: Say Yes to the BBQ!
As the event date gets closer, if you haven’t already pre-ordered a sausage sandwich + drink for the event, you can log in to Flexischools app and order online.
Step 3: Turn up, check in and have fun
On arrival to the event on Thursday 15 October students will need to register their arrival at the Check-in desk at the event to receive their event entrant details.
What is a Colour Run?
Like a cross-country event, the Colour Run will start different Year groups at different start times, with each group called when it’s their turn to start. However, unlike a cross-country, the Colour Run isn’t really a race and participants do not need to be fast runners.
Students in the Colour Run can run, jog or walk around One LAP of Watson Oval. The idea is simply have fun and get as colourful as possible along the way.
Around the oval, there will be a fun obstacle course. Students might have to jump through hoops, climb over mats, run through tyres and make their way through other obstacles as they complete the course.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Colour Run without lots of colour!
There will be many different colour stations where volunteers will be waiting to cover you in different coloured powder. There will also be sprinklers and water stations, so expect to get wet as well!
The coloured powder used in the event is made from corn starch and is specifically designed for Colour Run events. It is non-toxic and safe for this type of activity. Each participant will receive a pair of sunnies and a headband.
The aim is to finish the course having had a great time with friends and year group and finish the event looking really, really colourful!

Have Fun Fundraising
The ‘Monty the Monstar Colour Run’ event on 15 October is only one part of the activity. The other big part starts now — fundraising!.
Every student will have the opportunity to create their own online fundraising Profile Page, through which students will be able to keep track of their fundraising efforts. There are numerous prizes students can earn depending on how much money they raise – the more fundraising, the more prize opportunities students can unlock.
Family, friends and community can support the fundraising by making a donation through a student’s fundraising page. Every donation — big or small helps the P&F invest in initiatives, projects and opportunities that benefit students on Junior and Senior School campuses.
Students will see posters around school, as well as emails and messages sent to your parents and carers.
