Giving

Giving to Scots All Saints College enables you to make a difference to the lives of students at the College for generations to come.

It is our desire to see students develop every day in every experience and be people of purpose and courage.

We are grateful to the College community who generously give to support students.

Current Projects to Enhance Learning and Living on Campus

In 2024, the College commenced a staged redevelopment of the Junior School playground. For generations, students have been active and developed friendships playing together under the trees at the Junior School.

Giving Opportunities

With Phase 1 of the redevelopment now complete, untied tax-deductible donations to the College’s Building Fund will allow minor capital expenditure cashflows to be allocated towards continuing this project over the coming years.

In 2021, the College opened a new Innovation Centre at the Junior School which has played a key part in helping our youngest learners engage in STEM. Looking to the future, the College now has plans to create a STEM Precinct at the Senior School. The new precinct will start with the refurbishment of the Science laboratories. This will be followed by the repurposing of the Day House to become a large and flexible STEM area. In time, this new precinct will connect through to a renewed Technical and Applied Sciences Centre. A tax-deductible donation to the College’s Building Fund will help to ensure the College’s STEM facilities are renewed for current and future generations.

Giving Opportunities

Give a Science bench ($1,000)

Give a Science lab bench ($4,000)

Give a Science lab ($80,000)

A pledge can be made over a number of years e.g. Give a Science lab bench over 4 years by giving $1,000 annua

To allow the boarding community at Scots All Saints College to continue to expand, the College is looking to renew Bulkeley House so it can be reopened for boys boarding.

A prototype of the dorms and student spaces which are planned for the House have been installed in two areas. With support from current and past families, it is hoped that we will be able to continue to replicate this same high level of fit out throughout the House. With your support we hope that before long boarders will once again be living together and building friendships in Bulkley House.

Giving Opportunities
  • Give a bed ($800)
  • Give a room ($8,000)
  • Give a dorm ($80,000)

A pledge can be made over a number of years e.g. Give a room over 4 years by giving $2,000 annually.

Scholarships & Bursaries

Open the door to a Scots All Saints College Education by giving to a scholarship or bursary.

Each year, the College awards a number of scholarships to help students who, without our support, might not be able to access the opportunities offered at the College. We also understand that at times unexpected changes in financial circumstances may prevent students from continuing at the College and, in response, the College sometimes is able to offer bursaries to help parents through a time of hardship.

Each year, prior to the end of the financial year, we contact the College community to invite them to make a donation to the Annual Giving Appeal. Our Annual Giving Appeal raises funds for priorities identified in the facilities master plan for the College. A pledge can be made over a number of years and is tax-deductible in the year the funds are paid.

The learning environment and opportunities students at Scots All Saints College currently experience is a result of the foresight and generosity of the College and its community over many generations.

If you are interested in finding out more or wish to make a bequest, please click the link below and complete the form.

Bequest Interest Form

Leaving a gift to the College in your will (also known as a bequest) ensures that what you value most, will continue to be supported in the years ahead. It is your opportunity to:

  • Shape the education of future generations, including making a Scots All Saints College education available to deserving students
  • Help provide first-class resources for teaching and learning
  • Ensure the growth and development of our remarkable College

Your gift today will make an incredible difference to students now and in the future.

When considering your will you can bequeath:

  • Residual – a gift of the remainder of your estate, after provision has been made for your family and other beneficiaries.
  • Specific – a nominated amount or specific gift such as property, stocks, artwork or an insurance policy.
  • Percentage – a nominated percentage of your total estate.

Your gift may be unrestricted or designated:

  • Unrestricted Bequest – An unrestricted bequest to the College enables the College to choose how the gift will be applied.
  • Designated Bequest – A designated bequest enables you to choose how your gift will be applied. You can elect to support a specific philanthropic pillar of the College, such as infrastructure or general scholarships and bursaries.

When preparing your will or submitting amendments, we recommend you discuss this important matter with your solicitor who will be able to advise the best way of including a bequest to Scots All Saints College. If you have already made your will, you can add a codicil to include the College – a simple and inexpensive procedure.

Another option is to establish an endowment fund, a fund named in your memory or in the memory of a loved one. The capital remains untouched in perpetuity and the interest of the fund is used for your pre-designated purpose, such as a scholarship or bursary.

Auctions are a highlight of some of our Parents and Friends events. A range of holiday and luxury items are just some of the wonderful gifts which can be good to receive to help support the College. To donate a prize for the next auction email: giving@scotsallsaints.nsw.gov.au  or call our Marketing Team + 61 2 6331 3911 (option: Senior School)
