Understanding marketing and stakeholder engagement

Year 11 and 12 Business Studies students expanded their understanding of marketing and stakeholder engagement with an exciting practical experience thanks to Ms Kate Chapman, Head of Branding and Fan Engagement at NRL’s Parramatta Eels.

Ms Chapman engaged with students, noting the challenges of promoting and maintaining a brand, and discussing the value of market research, targeted advertising, game day fan engagement, pricing methods and more.

Following the meeting, students had the opportunity to travel to Sydney to watch Parramatta defeat Manly in a thrilling game.

Thank you to the staff who attended, including Mr Goddard, Miss Russo and Mr Groom. Also, a big thank you to Max and our driving staff, who got us down and home safely.
